Colegiul Naţional „Mihai Eminescu” Botoşani

Colegiul Național "Mihai Eminescu" Botoșani is a public school in Romania, Botoșani county (north-east of the country), with mostly high school students. The institution has 40 classes, around 1200 students and has two levels of education: middle school (7 classes) with around 200 students (students aged 11 to 15) and high school (33 classes) with around 1000 students (students aged 15 to 19). In high school, there are two profiles: the real profile and the humanities profile. The school has 40 classrooms, 17 laboratories and offices, a library, a gym, a boarding school and its own canteen (with a capacity of 300 places), its own kitchen, a school psychologist. The school also has its own doctor's surgery (which also provides medical services for two other schools in the county). 3 modern languages are studied in the school: English and French for all pupils and Spanish as an optional third foreign language for some classes. Many activities are carried out in the school with the aim of promoting European openness, compliance with European education standards, continuous improvement of teachers and exchange of best practices at regional, national and European level.
