Harmonia Youth Network, an Informal Group of Young People based in Cyprus, born from a passion for empowering youth and fostering social cohesion. Our mission is to inspire active citizenship, intercultural understanding, and volunteerism among young people locally and beyond. At the heart of Harmonia Youth Network is a commitment to empowering young individuals to become proactive, positive contributors to their communities. Our work is grounded in the principles of peace, solidarity, and social inclusion, which we promote through innovative initiatives and diverse programs. We particularly enjoy participating in Erasmus+ projects, where we actively create and facilitate youth exchanges to broaden horizons and build lasting connections. We offer a range of activities designed to meet the unique needs of young people, from cultural events and workshops to community-driven projects. While we focus on those aged 16-30, we engage all stakeholders who share our commitment to social cohesion and diversity. Our core values include multiculturalism, peacebuilding, and tolerance. We believe in the power of non-formal education and volunteerism to create a more inclusive and equitable society. Our dedicated team, with diverse backgrounds in fields such as sociology, media, and sports, works together to support young people on their journey toward social inclusion and personal growth. Through educational programs, intercultural exchanges, and volunteer opportunities, we aim to enhance the quality of life for young people, fostering resilience and community spirit. We also connect youth with global opportunities through international partnerships, broadening their horizons and enriching their perspectives. Our focus areas include democracy, active citizenship, entrepreneurship, environmental stewardship, human rights, intercultural dialogue, leadership, media, non-formal learning, and sports.
