“Inovaciju tinklas” (Innovation Network) is a non-governmental organization established in 2018 in the capital of Lithuania. Innovation Network aims to develop and implement initiatives that facilitate the transformation of formal and non-formal education through innovation. This involves: - Enhancing competencies among target audience (from children at school to seniors) and helping to unleash their potential; - Evolving of cross-sectoral cooperation for encouraging global synergy, solidarity and learning ecosystem; - Promoting digitalization, sustainability and inclusion; - Providing comprehensive support and advice for the development of innovative educational projects, both locally and internationally. The mission of the Innovation Network is to foster and support social, cultural, and educational activities that promote innovation. By linking education and business, the organization strives to create a collaborative environment that encourages the development of innovative education systems, enhances teacher and youth worker qualifications, and drives community engagement through a variety of projects and events (workshops, discussions, meetings). Innovation Network continuously cooperates with business enterprises that implement innovations. Also, actively collaborates with local government and non-government organizations (education centers, youth centers, NGOs, education institutions, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation Agency), municipalities, and business associations. The organisation participates in the development, testing and implementation of innovative curriculum content, coordinates and initiates the development of methodological material for educational development. Provides information and advice to educational organizations in Lithuania and abroad on the development of projects for innovation, intellectual property development and content. Administrative and organizational skills enables to connect different specialists to the joint activities. The organization's target public is wide: Innovation Network cooperates with public and private entities, SMEs, colleges, universities, schools, youth organizations and NGOs. Its audience goes from children at school to seniors, youth with fewer opportunities, students and vocational trainees, youth workers, teachers, trainers, and professionals from different sectors.
