Aksaray T Type Closed and Open Penitentiary

Aksaray T Type Closed and Open Penitentiary Institution, which started its operations on 17.01.2020 under the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses of the Ministry of Justice. Aksaray T Type Closed and Open Penal Execution Institution, which started its operations in 2020; approximately 2000 convicts and detainees consisting of women, men, Turks and citizens of different countries; It is an institution where execution and improvement procedures are carried out in order to strengthen the factors preventing recidivism by providing general and special prevention, to protect society against crime, to encourage re-socialization, to facilitate adaptation to a productive and responsible lifestyle that respects laws, orders and social rules, to ensure the integration of convicts and detainees with society after their release from penal institutions, to reintegrate the aforementioned individuals into society and ultimately to prevent recidivism. As youth workers working in the institution; we are looking for partners to work together within the scope of Erasmus+ KA153 project for convicts and detainees who are currently housed in our institution, mostly between the ages of 18-30, with limited access to social life.
