AKRAVITA – Organisation Profile AKRAVITA Social Promotion Association is a non-profit organisation based in Italy (Sicily), active since 2005 in the fields of youth work, social inclusion and prevention of educational poverty. The association works mainly with children, adolescents and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, delivering community-based and non-formal educational activities, youth centres, socio-educational workshops and inclusive learning spaces. AKRAVITA has strong experience in working with local communities, families and social services, aiming to strengthen educational opportunities and social cohesion at territorial level. AKRAVITA is registered in the Italian National Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS) and has experience in managing and implementing social, educational and inclusion projects at local and national level. Through Erasmus+ KA210-YOU, the organisation aims to cooperate with European partners to exchange good practices, improve the quality of youth work and develop inclusive community youth spaces.
