The Antalya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports is a public institution operating under the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Türkiye, aiming to support the personal, social, cultural, and physical development of young people. Through youth centres, the Directorate implements non-formal learning–based youth work activities that promote active citizenship, volunteering, social participation, and the development of key life skills among young people. Within the Directorate, the Erasmus Unit is responsible for developing and implementing national and international projects under the Erasmus+ Programme in the youth field. The unit focuses on youth exchanges, youth worker mobility, and capacity-building activities, aiming to provide young people with intercultural learning experiences, strengthen European cooperation, and enhance competences related to environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and active participation. Thanks to its institutional experience, strong local stakeholder network, and expertise in youth work, the Antalya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports implements inclusive, participatory, and sustainable projects that respond to the needs of young people. The organisation’s mission is to empower young people, foster a sense of social responsibility, and create meaningful impact at local, national, and European levels.
