Amazigh Girl Matters

Amazigh Girl Matters (AGM) is a grassroots, women-led non-profit organisation based in Morocco dedicated to empowering Amazigh women, girls and young people through education, leadership, cultural preservation and community development. Our mission is to create inclusive opportunities that strengthen the social, economic and civic participation of Amazigh communities while preserving Indigenous language, culture and identity. We work closely with local communities to deliver educational programmes, skills development, women's empowerment initiatives and activities that encourage active citizenship, intercultural dialogue and youth participation. AGM values equality, inclusion, human rights, environmental sustainability and community-led development. We believe that lasting change is achieved by supporting local leadership and creating opportunities for young people and women to become active agents of positive social change. We are interested in partnering with an experienced Erasmus+ host organisation that already participates in funded projects. Through this partnership, we hope to contribute to collaborative initiatives focused on youth empowerment, gender equality, non-formal education, cultural heritage, social inclusion, and sustainable community development, while building long-term international cooperation and organisational capacity.
