Etrurian Youth APS

We are a youth-led non-profit association based in the rural region of central Italy (Province of Viterbo, Lazio). Our organization is dedicated to empowering local youth, fostering social inclusion, and driving community-led development through active citizenship, non-formal education, and international mobility. Operating in a semi-rural context characterized by geographic isolation and limited access to educational and cultural opportunities compared to major urban centers, we strive to bridge the opportunity gap for young people in our territory. We act as a local hub for learning, connection, and personal growth, encouraging youth to become active agents of change in their communities. Our Core Objectives & Activities Erasmus+ & International Mobility: We design and implement high-quality Youth Exchanges (KA152) and Mobility of Youth Workers (KA153) projects, promoting intercultural dialogue, solidarity, and European citizenship. Non-Formal Education: We facilitate workshops, training courses, and participatory methodologies centered on soft skills development, leadership, inclusion, and digital tools. Community Field Research & Participatory Mapping: We engage young people in exploring and mapping local resources, needs, and cultural heritage, transforming field research into actionable community initiatives and shared tools for partner organizations. Local Inclusion & Youth Empowerment: We pay special attention to youth with fewer opportunities—specifically those facing geographical, social, or economic obstacles—offering accessible pathways to personal and professional development. Our Approach & Expertise Through non-formal education principles, we emphasize peer-to-peer learning, hands-on experimentation, and collaborative problem-solving. By connecting local grassroots initiatives with broader European networks, our association builds sustainable partnerships across Europe, bringing fresh perspectives back to our rural territory while sharing our community-based research practices globally.
