Društvo likovnih i primenjenih umetnika Zemuna manages the oldest active art gallery in Zemun - Umetnička galerija "Stara kapetanija". Located on the Danube riverbank in the heart of historic Zemun, the gallery is a cultural institution dedicated to contemporary visual and applied arts. Our mission is to connect artists of different generations, poetics and artistic practices through exhibitions, cultural events and programs that link art with the local community. We organize over 10 exhibitions annually, including the traditional "Zemunski salon" event. We are actively seeking international partners for cultural exchange projects, particularly within the Visegrad+ framework. Our goal is to establish long-term cooperation with cultural institutions, galleries and art organizations from V4 countries and the Western Balkans region. We are open to co-organizing exhibitions, artist residencies, student workshops and joint publication projects.
