Hälsofrämjande innovation i samverkan

Our group is part of a project that brings together youths who chose to work voluntarily to improve their living situation. Most are first and second generation immigrants, they have Swedish citizenship, but far from have the same opportunities as other peers. With hard work we have slowly turned hopelessness into something new. They engage more and more, but need tools to reach out to more. Our district is one of the most affected by the police and the media. many carry trauma after a war in their home country and later the trauma of lost friends in the new country. The neighborhood is characterized by socioeconomic vulnerability, parents who never had the chance to integrate.
