Alzira City Council created the Local Development Agency IDEA in 1995 to promote economic and employment promotion in Alzira town. IDEA objectives are primarily the generation of youth employment and wealth in alzira. The Agency has a service to support the entrepreneurs on the procedures required to start up a business, as well as specific subsidies, with this initiatives the Agency support the entrepreneurial spirit of the youngsters. The agency focus its actions on training activities, aimed to improve the professional qualification of groups with greater difficulties in accessing the labour market. It also has a service for European Programmes, led by most young unemployed people, the agency also support the young people who are looking for a job in Europe thus the Eures network. IDEA also has developed several European Projects of the LLP, which certainly favour the sense of European Citizenship in the volunteers. We have a team with over 20 years of experience. Our Professional teams have psychologists, occupational and technical guidance, teachers / educators. It is important to learn from other people, who come from another country, in order to share experiences, ways of working and new ideas. It’s also important to show how the Agency organise and promote its activities in the area of youth and urban development. Therefore we believe it is very useful to develop a project in an environment where young volunteers from other countries in Europe, can participate in supporting young people in the possibilities offered by the European mobility programmes.
