In the past 10 years our organization has developed a film based non-formal educational practice model dedicated to young people (age 14-18) called My First Documentary Film Workshop. We have successfully implemented 25 projects centered on this method throughout different communities around Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The workshops introduce teenagers to the world of documentary film-making while encouraging their engagement in the everyday realities of their communities and a critical perspective of their immediate universe. The quantifiable outcomes are: 273 participants, 209 short documentary films in 11 locations.
