Bolu Governorship

EU Coordination Centre established within Bolu Governorship is responsible for supporting and guiding all projects prepared and conducted in the city. We can categorize the centre’s tasks as follows: - To prepare projects in order to get benefit from both internal and external grant programmes, particularly EU Funds - To lead and guide not only public bodies but also non-governmental organizations to get benefit from particularly from EU funds and to ensure coordination among these organizations. - To provide technical support for the institutions which want to prepare projects - To publicize both internal and external grant programmes and organize training courses We also implement the following activities; - To work with young people and volunteers to strengthen social and cultural activities, - To hold educational programmes such as courses, seminars, conferences and panels, - To provide any essential information, documents, publications in order to realize the aims; create a documentation center; form informative newsletters and distributing newspapers, magazines, books to its members and the public for the purpose of announcing its work; set up a website on Internet and so contribute dissemination of work issues, - Engage in an international activity; join foreign NGOs, public and private bodies and organizations and make joint work with these organizations or project basis or cooperate, - Prepare EU projects, participate in the activities and send participants, enable young people and participants to improve themselves.
