PACO Ltd

PACO delivers Peterborough Community Radio (Peterborough FM) project. The work is based around recruiting and training local people each in various aspects of community radio, including Script Writing, Digital Editing, Interview Techniques and Communication skills, project management, marketing, administration etc. We focus our work on engaging local residents who lack confidence, skills and self-esteem and through involvement in the project, we see them flourish as individuals, gaining qualifications, experience but most importantly confidence to move onto other roles in the community or enter paid/other voluntary work or further education. Peterborough FM In this respect, helps regenerate deprived areas by offering community development opportunities by growing seeds within people, many of whom have had barriers to learning or faced disadvantage in society that this project helps them overcome.
