Springboard Opportunities

Our focus is on creating an impact, driving positive, tangible change and supporting the positive development of disadvantaged and vulnerable groups through building capacity and intercultural understanding. Our work is based on best practice research and tailored designs to accommodate learning preferences, personal objectives and goals and desired impact. With a permanent staff of 14, the organisation has been involved in working with over 8400 people in over 200 programmes including Wider Horizons which offers high impact education programmes in personal, social, diversity and professional development. Other activity has included Pathways to Work, which provides free web based interactive multilingual resource to assist immigrants / migrants to access employment or upgrade to a better job; EnGage, which provides a multilingual, multicultural Train the Trainer DVD toolkit for VET providers to increase participation of NEET young people, particularly vulnerable subgroups of young disabled and immigrant, into Vocational Education and Training (VET); Pathways for Graduates, which will increase the integration of young graduates into the labour market by providing a multilingual, multicultural training course which will allow them to acquire the competences and transferable work skills needed to open up progression opportunities either directly into employment and/or to further vocational qualifications and Global Peacebuilders, a transnational project which connects peacebuilders from across the world through a multilingual hub to exchange skills, experience, resources and develop collaborative working. To complement its quality approach, Springboard has achieved accredited centre status with UK based National Open College Network. The organization espouses a learner-centred ethos, believing in a dialogic learning process as the learner becomes actively engaged and owns their development and achievement. We are also committed to ongoing innovation by responding to evolving beneficiary needs. Springboard has significant network base in government, adult education, voluntary, community, public and private sectors.
