International Relations Studies Association (TUİÇ in Turkish) was established as a platform by undergraduate students in the field of International Relations departments in 2008 and has been working in its office in Istanbul since 2011. The TUİÇ Academy website was established in 2011 and it aims to encourage undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students studying in the fields of social sciences to produce academic works. The website is not only limited to students but also became a leading reference source with the contributions of academics and experts in social sciences, with its nearly 10,000 academic content. TUİÇ organizes congresses, symposiums, and workshops in different countries and universities in the field of social sciences has expanded these studies to nearly 50 universities. TUİÇ has been continuing its academic works with its representatives located in different areas of Turkey and of the world. TUİÇ has university representatives in 36 universities in Turkey. Throughout their representation period, university representatives carry out various academic studies at their universities. While this representation period allows for the spread of youth studies locally, it also enables the young people to acquire individual skills and competencies. In 2016 TUİÇ started the Online Internship (o-STAJ) program. o-STAJ is an education model that aims to provide young people with self-confidence, development, network, initiative, and responsibility instead of classical methods as 'photocopying internship' Between , 2036 interns graduated from the internship program, which included methodology training, research writing, film-series analysis, online presentation, teamwork and interview studies. The coordinators of the internship programs are young people at the doctoral level. TUİÇ o-STAJ program is accredited by the European Agency for Higher Education & Accreditation (EAHEA) in line with the quality standards of the education provided within the scope of the internship and the contribution value it has produced. Acting with the aim of sharing and disseminating information, TUİÇ turned to alternative solutions due to the fact that Wikipedia was blocked in Turkey in 2017. In this direction, the International Relations Dictionary (UliWiki), which operates with the Wikimedia infrastructure, has started its activities in the field of social sciences.
