TEPEBASI DISTRICT NATIONAL EDUCATION DIRECTORATE

Within the structure of Tepebaşı District Directorate of National Education,there are a total of 145 schools in the basic education category in our district, 41 of which are kindergarten, 59 primary schools and 45 lower secondary schools.At secondary education level; There are 47 schools in total in the categories of science, social sciences, Anatolian and Vocational Technical high schools. There are also special education schools at every level from kindergarten to high school.The total number of schools in the district is 192, the number of students is 61.966, and the number of teachers is3570.Our Directorate is a responsible governmental organization in our region. Tepebaşı District Directorate of National Education attaches great importance to teacher training and innovative education studies.International Erasmus+ and eTwinning projects are actively carried out in the schools of our district.In addition,science festivals, scientific symposiums and many activities are held within the scope of local projects.In coordination with universities for special education students studies are carried out.Many innovative methods and techniques such as e-Content Development,Project Based Learning, 21st Century skills,Internet security, digital learning,technology integration are included in our training programs. Coding Fests, Children Biennials, Cultural and Sportive Events, TÜBİTAK 4004 and 4007 Programs (in science-art education), Astro-STEM Projects,Parent Academy projects are carried out by the Project unit of our district.The District Directorate of National Education aims at increasing knowledge, skills and experiences in project-based learning, gives importance to courses, seminars, conferences, in-service training and workshop.Our institution evaluates the demands according to the interests and needs of our teachers and learners. Internationalization and European dimensions have a crucial part in our strategic plan.
