Ulysses

Ulysses Artistic Merits is an NGO based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Born in 2006 as a union of artists and enthusiasts, its main aim is to support and shine light upon young artists, with an emphasis on the less visible and less experienced. Our actions revolve around the topics of Human Rights and Peace Education, Social Inclusion, Cultural Mediation and Environmental Sustainability through Arts. The support provided is a combination of our actions:  Organizing and running local artistic events with a social impact, such as social photography exhibitions and festivals  Increasing environmental awareness through the inclusion and promotion of environmentally friendly and handmade forms of art in our events  Running workshops and seminars on various fields (Human Rights Education, Social Inclusion, Environmental Sustainability, Cultural Mediation, Peace Education, Music)  Acting as a mediator for bringing together people, local (and not only) artists, organizations, groups, unions and various stakeholders.  Increasing visibility and networking for young artists and stakeholders through participating in conferences and local and international actions ,  Supporting young people in participating in Erasmus Projects We firmly believe that anything and anyone can be Art, thus our support is not limited! Ulysses is another name for Odysseus. Finally, Ulysses found his way, what about you?
