The 16th Intercultural Primary School of Chania is a public primary school located on the island of Crete, Greece. Our school serves children aged 6 to 12 from diverse cultural, linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds, including children of immigrants, refugees, and local Greek families. Diversity is not just part of our identity — it is the foundation of our educational vision. We aim to promote inclusion, democratic values, environmental responsibility and creative learning through interdisciplinary, student-centered approaches. Our staff designs and implements innovative projects on sustainability, robotics, human rights, arts and digital storytelling. The school is experienced in collaborative teaching, European programs, and active community engagement. We believe in the power of cooperation and are looking for meaningful international partnerships to exchange practices, empower our students and broaden their horizons.
