Novotarium is a youth organization from Serbia, founded in 2024, with the mission to empower young people to become active, responsible, and engaged members of society. We create opportunities for youth to gain new skills, explore innovative learning methods, and participate in international projects that promote personal and professional growth. Our work focuses on several key areas: Non-formal education & digital tools – designing creative workshops, training courses, and treasure hunt-based learning to boost digital and media literacy. Mental health & well-being – supporting young people and youth workers through awareness programs, mentoring, and peer-to-peer approaches. Sustainability & green initiatives – raising awareness of ecological challenges and promoting recycling, circular economy, and environmental protection. Active citizenship & youth participation – encouraging young people to engage in democratic processes, volunteering, and community actions. Although a young organization, our team has more than 15 years of experience in youth work, formal and non-formal education, and innovative educational approaches. Since our foundation, we have successfully implemented numerous local initiatives, such as book exchange bazaars, public debates, outdoor cinema screenings, mental health workshops, and cultural heritage treasure hunts. On the international level, Novotarium has built a strong network of partners and participates in Erasmus+ projects as a coordinator and partner. So far, we have involved over 100 young people and 50 educators in youth exchanges, training courses, and virtual exchanges in more than 15 European countries. Our current project portfolio includes topics like digital transformation, mental health, sustainable development, cultural heritage digitalization, and youth participation. Through our growing network, we strive to connect young people, educators, institutions, and organizations across Europe. Our goal is to foster innovative learning environments and create tools that empower youth and youth workers to adapt to the challenges of the 21st century.
