SXM Kunst

SXM Kunst is a Norway based non profit arts and culture organization working with dance, theatre, film, and music as tools for inclusion and intercultural dialogue. The organization was created after a shared dance performance that brought together young people with refugee and immigrant backgrounds and Norwegian participants. This experience showed us how art can build trust, connection, and a sense of belonging across cultural differences. We mainly work with young people, especially those who may have limited access to cultural activities. Through workshops, rehearsals, performances, and cultural visits, we create safe and creative spaces where participants can express themselves, collaborate, and develop confidence. Our work is based on non formal learning, participation, and community building. We believe that artistic collaboration can strengthen social cohesion and support integration in a practical and meaningful way.
