The Orpheus Arts is a Cyprus-based NGO that uses music as a tool for learning, inclusion, wellbeing and intercultural dialogue. Building on more than 25 years of experience in choir singing, music education and live performance, we create opportunities for young people and adults to learn, collaborate and grow through meaningful artistic experiences. Our work combines music, non-formal education and community engagement to strengthen identity, encourage participation and foster social connection. We believe that singing and making music together can develop confidence, creativity, teamwork and mutual understanding while creating lasting bonds between people from different cultures and backgrounds. We design and implement local and international projects that promote youth empowerment, active citizenship, cultural participation and lifelong learning. Our activities include choir projects, creative workshops, concerts, intercultural exchanges, training courses and community initiatives that encourage dialogue, inclusion and personal development. The Orpheus Arts is committed to creating accessible and welcoming environments for people with diverse backgrounds and fewer opportunities. We value diversity, equal participation and intergenerational learning, bringing young people and adults together to share experiences, learn from one another and contribute to stronger, more connected communities. As a growing European partner, we are committed to developing high-quality international collaborations that use music and creativity to inspire participation, strengthen communities and contribute to a more inclusive, resilient and culturally connected Europe.
