The Romanian Association for Baltic and Nordic Studies

ARSBN is the only Association from Romania and South Eastern Europe with this profile. Our activities are based especially on research field but we started to give more attention to youth projects. In this way we organised last year an international summer school named „Nordic lights” where students from Romania could learn about Nordic and Baltic region, we had participate at different training courses within the context of Youth in Action Program. Our Organisation have a very good colaboration with Anna Lindh Foundation who helped us to organise the Third International Conference on Baltic and Nordic Studies entitled „European Networks: the Balkans, Scandinavia and the Baltic World in a Time of Crisis (May 25-27, 2012) ”and the exhibition ”On this and the Other Side - Perception of a One Week Journey in Israel and Palestine” hosted in Romania at the The National Museal Complex Princely Court of Targoviste (1st april – 8th april), and at the National Museum of History and Archaeology of Constanta (11th april – 17th april). ARSBN will be present at Anna Lindh Mediterranean Forum (4-7 April, 2013, Marsillia).
