Feeny community Youth Group

The aim of our association is to address the educational, economic, environmental, cultural and social needs of the Feeny residents. To encourage and inspire the community to develop their skills to ensure a better quality of life. To provide services to our community which would be otherwise unavailable to them, due to rural location, lack of facilities, poor transport links to the nearest towns. Our organisation aims to address the day to day issues and problems which our community faces and ensure that all members of our community can feel a sense of belonging and self worth regardless of religion, race,age, gender or ability. Our association embarks on a wide range of projects each year to provide for the needs of our area. We are very much user led and adapt our programmes to suit the current economic & social climate at any given time. We currently have the following activities ongoing:- Youth DropIn, Older peoples group, Children's Saturday Arts & Crafts, Outreach Advice Centre, Summer Scheme. Our Community Office provides a range of services to the community including printing, faxing, internet, typing. We also provide a range of classes and courses throughout the year including Essential Skills Maths & English, I. T, First Aid, recreational classes.
