Provincial Direcorate of National Education (Iğdır Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü

Iğdır Provincial Directorate of National Education is a state institute which represents the Ministry of Education and has the responsibility of planning and coordination all kinds of educational and training activities from pre-school education to the end of secondary education in Iğdır. There is one Provincial Director, 2 deputy managers, 10 branch managers, 2 school inspectors, 1 lawyer, 3 experts of education, 4 computer operators, 28 data processor, 3 engineers, 1 architecture, 3 technician, 16 servants and 1 guard. There are three District National Education Directorate offices, 193 schools and other educational institutions, 52563 students and 3126 teachers within the responsibility of the Directorate. Objectives of the Directorate: - To develop the quality of the education - To develop the quality of preschool and private education - To provide all the needs of schools including maintenance, financial, technological equipments. - To enable all the schools to catch up with technological advancement. - To make researches for education and carry out local and international projects - To develop new approaches to strengthen the education and training paths of perspective and practicing educators; equipping them with all the competences and skills needed - Contributing to the development of a European Area of Skills and Qualifications - To support innovative projects aimed to reduce disparities in learning outcomes affecting learners from disadvantaged backgrounds/with fewer opportunities – including learners with disabilities. As the Directorate and the department we have mission to enhance the capacity of all the public institutes in the city. we are able to receive support from all the institutes including the Iğdır Chamber of Commerce, Vocational Schools and the Municipality too.
