C.S.F. - Cooperazione Senza Frontiere

ASSOCIATION DESCRIPTION: the association C.S.F. - Cooperazione Senza Frontiere – was born in the spring of 2010 from the union of young students in the University of Palermo. Our point of view is based on moral and cultural values of solidal cooperation among people and our aim is to overcome the existing inequities produced by current system of international relations and from economic mechanisms which sustain it, promoting equal relations among people, genders, cultures and giving value to diversities. We do it to contribute to the creation of a sustainable world which recognizes the fundamental role of international cooperation sharing an ethic based on promotion of self-development and solidariety among people. We want to sensitize the most number of people about the real meaning of human rights and sustainable development. We want to give visibility to developing countries and to increase sensibility of civil society about international cooperation topics. We want to support and defend a culture of peace, respect and tolerance. USUAL ACTIVITIES: We organize workshop and trainings involving also professionals and local associations. We promote european and international youth mobility, organizing cultural exchanges and educational visits. We organize conventions and around the city we mount stands where we can sensitize people about international cooperation, human rights and active citizenship.
