GESOGED: (Youth and Social Development Center) We are an ngo working as non-profit organization ,founded in 2005, in Balıkesir. Gesoged active young people, youth-workers and people professional job. Besides teachers, education specialists, psychologists, there are are young volunteer members to contribute GESOGED’s activities. Most of our members’ profiles are disadvantaged young people with social incompetencies. Our mission: To take an active leading role in every possible action for social and personal development of youth. “There are no individuals to be sacrificed”. We organise a lot of activities for this mission. We believe that to have socially and personally well-developed youth (adult) population , large amounts of investments are needed and non-governmental organizations should take their responsibility in society. GESOGED was accredited as Eurodesk Touchpoint association by Turkish Republic European Union Ministry in 2007. . Our association thematically focuses on social discrimination, school failure, equal opportunity, youth leisure time activities,democracy and human rights. We make an effort for youth to be citizens participating actively in solving social problems. We, as GESOGED, are open to every project call associated with our this main objective. Our organization is an accredited association in Turkey doing EVS projects . We participated in a lot of projects on education and conducted a variety of innovative projects.
