Youth Work Our Department engages with young people wherever they are, but mainly in Community Centres, Libraries and dedicated youth projects. Work with young people is centred on their personal and social development. We have the lead role in: •Youth Information Services We provide the opportunity for young people to have their learning, development and achievements recognised through four informal accreditation formats. We also link in with different projects supporting young people who may be finding it hard to cope at school, home, work or within their community. •Provides access to information to allow young people to make informed life choices •Ensures information is relevant, up to date and in a format which is attractive to young people •Delivers in settings where young people feel comfortable •Provides opportunities for young people to engage with technology through the young person’s National Entitlement Card (such as retailer discounts)
