FAIR- Fundacja Aktywnych Inicjatyw Rozwoju

Foundation for Active Development Initiatives (FAIR) is a youth focused NGO, which was established in 2013. The organizations main focus is on providing educational and training activities for children, youth and adults. Especially those who are from rural areas or/and with immigrant background and are at risk of exclusion. Moreover, FAIR supports and provides activities to ethnic minorities in Poland, and supports the democratization process of our eastern neighbors: Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. FAIR does not limit its activities to one city or province but works on a national level as well as abroad. FAIR main focus areas are: - Providing support to migrant groups in Poland - Strengthening youth to become open minded, knowledged and skilled members of the Polish and European society - Creation of educational materials (e.g training toolkits) on various topics (multiculturalism, trainers methodology, storytelling, entrepreneurship, volunteering) - Strengthening inter-cultural/religious dialogue within the society - Youth Exchanges (schools, school youth, and students) - Transnational Trainings for youth and NGO representatives - International Cooperation’s between sectors and individuals for knowledge and skill enhancement (workshops, conferences) FAIR is focusing strongly on allowing Ukrainian migrants, the largest immigrant group in Poland, to integrate into the Polish society and to also build understanding and cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian people. FAIR is cooperating moreover in a transnational network of organizations who work together to create an alliance to strengthen the youth sector, minority groups and the fairly new organizations or grassroot groups in democratic unstable countries and generally in Europe. The main broadly stated topics we focus on in this partnership are: volunteering, multiculturalism, entrepreneurship, media and visual communication, storytelling, work skills and CSR/fundraising and advocacy. Currently, FAIR is involved in a Eramsus+ K2 project and is organizing several transnational trainings.
