LO SPAZIO DELLE IDEE

Always engaged on youth and European policy issues, “Lo Spazio delle Idee” operates as one of the longest-serving Youth Center of Abruzzo Region. In fact, it was the first to be opened in 1997. Its highly qualified staff (young women aged between 28 and 35 years old) support young people in identifying training paths that match with their personal and professional expectations, offer them opportunities of study and training abroad through the active participation in the Erasmus+ programme. It coordinates individual mobility projects for VET learners and Staff. And it is properly in schools that it promotes both the common values of active and European citizenship through workshops and labs for students and the initiatives that the European Commission proposes them. We carry out projects aimed at enhancing school and extracurricular experiences promoting activities of enhancement of their territory. It has among its stated objectives the socio-economic inclusion of disadvantaged people, so it leaves no one behind! We took part in youth exchanges which main themes were active citizenship, human rights, intercultural dialogue through religion, social inclusion, we managed ex EVS programme as Receiving as Sending Organisation. We manage Erasmus+ projects; furthermore, we are running and managing two different projects in the frame of AMIF (FAMI - Fondo Asilo Migrazione e Integrazione) and we help young immigrants in applying for jobs.
