Associazione Etica e Sport

Associazione Etica e Sport (Ethics and Sport Association) was founded in 2014 with the aim of promoting the knowledge and ethical values of sport and to disseminate the contents of the Piedmontese Ethics Charter.The Piedmontese Ethical Sport Card was created following the experience of the Torino 2006 Olympic Games, the Games edition in which the Ethics Charter of Olympic Values was approved and signed. The editors of the Ethics and Sport Association, Rinaldo Bontempi and Pierpaolo Maza, were responsible for editing the Charter. Rinaldo Bontempi was a parliamentary in Strasbourg and in that role among the creators of the European White Paper of Sport, and vice-president of TOROC (TORINO Organizing Committee, the organizer of the Turin Winter Olympics 2006). Later on took his place Pierpaolo Maza historical leader of the movement for sport for all. The Association of Ethics and Sport, under the presidency of Giorgio Viglino, sports journalist of national and European newspapers and TV, has developed the Charter of Ethics of Piedmont and has been responsible for its diffusion since 2014. The Association promotes the development of networks between Municipalities and between Schools so that in daily translation, good practices are established and disseminated in order to sediment a new culture of sport. More than 120 Municipalities and 200 schools in the Piedmont area have adopted the Charter of Ethics. Every year the Association promotes a prize dedicated to the memory of Rinaldo Bontempi, above mentioned and Maurizio Laudi, (magistrate and national and international sports director).
