RollaDome All Skate is a Black female-led registered charity that uses roller sports, mentoring, education and personal development to improve the lives of children and young people. We provide inclusive roller-skating programmes, holiday activities, youth leadership opportunities, volunteering, work experience, accredited training and employment pathways for young people aged 4 to 25. Our work particularly supports children and young people from disadvantaged communities, ethnic minority backgrounds, those with special educational needs and disabilities, and young adults who are not currently learning, earning or fully engaged in positive opportunities. Through our programmes, participants develop physical fitness, confidence, resilience, teamwork, communication and leadership skills in safe, supportive and welcoming environments. We work closely with schools, local authorities, community organisations, employers, families and specialist partners to remove barriers to participation and create meaningful routes into education, training, volunteering and employment. Since its establishment, RollaDome has engaged more than 44,000 children, young people and community members. Our aim is not simply to teach roller skating, but to use sport as a powerful tool for social inclusion, personal growth, community connection and long-term opportunity. RollaDome All Skate has a strong track record of working in partnership with local authorities, schools, community organisations, funders and employers to deliver accessible and high-quality opportunities for children and young people. Our programmes are shaped by the needs and lived experiences of the communities we serve. We are committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, and we continually review our delivery through participant feedback, outcome monitoring and partnership learning. As a community-rooted organisation, we understand the barriers that can prevent young people from taking part in sport, education, training and employment. We therefore provide practical and personalised support, including mentoring, leadership opportunities, volunteering, work experience and progression pathways. We are particularly interested in developing sustainable partnerships that can increase access to inclusive roller sports, strengthen youth voice and create lasting opportunities for children, young people and their families.
