LAG Stolove hory, z. s.

Local action group Stolové hory was established in 2012 and administratively consist of 14 municipalities with a population of 38.000. We focus on the support and development of Hronov, Police nad Metují and Náchod region by redistribution of funds to projects in the areas of agriculture, environment, infrastructure and employment. At the same time, we cooperate with municipalities, support the cohesion of the region and organize educational and cultural events. As a part of our largest project – Development of Education in the Náchod region, we support the development of pre-school, primary and non-formal education in our region. Within the project, we actively cooperate with 47 schools (kindergarten and primary) and other educational organizations (elementary art schools, leisure centres, NGOs). More than 500 teachers and 7.000 children are involved in the project. Educational activities are focused mainly on teachers, but also on the parents and other actors in education.
