We are a cooperative made up of members and partners, male and female workers who are passionately dedicated to the development of the territory. We educate boys and girls with digital, but surrounded by greenery; we help those with addiction problems, we support those in need of home. We use creativity to guide people with disabilities on the road to autonomy. We take care of archives, we catalog books, we do mediators in museums. We communicate by cooperating. We draw together with people and communities new trajectories, to intercept the changes of tomorrow. OUR ONGOING SERVICES Fragilities We operate in the social field, we take care of the most fragile people: we help those with addiction problems, we support those in need of a home. We use creativity to guide people with disabilities on the road to autonomy. We design reception paths for migrants. • DISABILITY: services for adults such as day centers, sheltered workshops and co-housing. o Marakanda: the sheltered workshops welcomes up to 25 adults with medium-mild mental disabilities. Art is the guiding thread of all the different activities within the laboratory: painting, sculpture and ceramics atelier, creative sewing, screen printing, digital, carpentry. o Montebello: the sheltered workshops accommodates up to 22 adults with medium-mild mental disabilities. The activities are related to the cultivation of vegetables, aromatic plants, cleaning of the woods and wood recovery, environmental paths for educational activities, meal preparation, production of essential oils and natural cosmetics with our medicinal herbs o Easy to live: the sheltered workshops accommodates up to 8 adults with medium-light mental disabilities. The intervention consists in welcoming and supporting the person, trying to improve the quality of life through the development of autonomy, the enhancement of personal skills and interpersonal skills. o Green Group: the medium/long-term socio-occupational center is located in the Municipality of Cento (FE) and is characterized as a job education service through craft, production and artistic activities, it is a tool to encourage individual expression. o Digital Classrooms activated in all centers for people with disability. The DC can also cope with remote activities thanks to Digital Coaches who work in synergy with ABC Digitale, the site that Open Group uses to promote digital innovation in educational services (www .abc-Digitale.it). • SOCIAL HOUSING: structures for housing transition, social mediation, Roma and Sinti integration, integration workshops low-threshold work, night shelter for the homeless • CHILDREN and ADOLESCENTS: mother and child community, h24 structures for minors, apartments for over 18s, integrated educational community • MIGRANTS: management of ordinary and extraordinary accommodation centres • ADDICTION: host communities for people with addiction issues. Events and Culture Experience and professionalism distinguish our work in the field of cultural heritages: we take care of archives, we catalog books, we do mediation in museums. We focus on communication, because in contents we convey our values. We also deal with urban regeneration, managing a urban space for exhibitions, events and concerts. • HERITAGE: archive management, museums and libraries • COMMUNICATION: Be Open is our communication agency where communication experts and journalists work together with video makers, storytelling and participatory editing experts, graphic designers and social media managers. An agency that cares about social issues and sustainability, which produces contents for companies, the cooperative world and for non-profits. • DumBO: a temporary urban regeneration space of almost 40,000 square meters. A former railway freight yard at the disposal of the city. Covered and open areas for culture, art, music and sport, in close relationship with the territory. A place where associations, businesses and citizens collaborate and contaminate each other. DumBO also rents individual spaces, suitable for infinite destinations. An area that Open Group manages together with Eventeria.
