Centre for Humanity and Sustainable Development (CHUSDE)

A local organization called the Centre for Humanity and Sustainable Development (CHUSDE) works to construct societies to uphold human dignity and maintain environmental integrity and climate change throughout all of their development efforts. The organization also works in agriculture and child protection. The Kasungu District-based CHUSDE in the central region of Malawi began operations in 2018 and in 2020 collaborated with the Matako community of the Lukwa Traditional Authority in Early Childhood Education through Chithaphwi Community Based Childcare Centre (CBCC) which is presently operational with more than 50 children aged between 3 and 5 years old. Currently, CHUSDE is managing a youth exchange programme on “The Food Print Project” alongside Good Health organization and other international organizations in Kenya, Germany and Poland. The FoodPrint Project is about "how our food choices impact on our environment". CHUSDE is eager to create long-term initiatives to assist abused children, mothers, the disabled and other vulnerable persons so they may become contributing members of society even after being abuse victims. Supporting street kids is the current effort at the center of the organization.
