Experiential Learning Centers (YÖM) can be established for children, youth and adults. These guidebooks aim to help you establish and develop YOMs in different fields. WHAT IS LEARNING BY EXPERIENCE? Learning by Experiencing is a set of applications that aim to learn through games and activities specially prepared to make you experience the same events we encounter in daily life. After each activity, emphasis is placed on what was done well, what could be done better, key learnings and the transfer of these learnings to life. WHY IS LEARNING BY EXPERIENCE IMPORTANT? We can explain “Learning by Experiencing” as an increase in the ability to cope with problems that may happen to us later, thanks to the awareness created by a problem or event we find ourselves in. The cheapest learning method in life is also described as learning from what happened to someone else. However, in order for learning by experience to take place, it is not necessary for a problem to happen to someone else or one of our relatives. Through meticulously developed games and activities, we can reach the awareness necessary for life in physical and emotional safety.
