Since 1981, AeT has been planning and providing services to the person, in close cooperation with public, non-profit and private organisations, and with informal realities in the X, XI and XII Municipalities of Rome and in the I Municipality of the Municipality of Naples, in order to create real and concrete social and cultural integration. Initially as providers of services for the elderly, then from 1997 the Cooperative started providing services in the area of minors in Rome and Naples, providing support to minors and their families, experimenting the importance of the concrete activation of the territory and its formal and informal resources in the process of enhancing the wellbeing of individuals and social groups. Since 2015, it has been managing, in agreement with the Municipality X of Roma Capitale, the home care service for the differently abled (S.A.I.S.H.). Conceiving the territorial and social network as a space in which to build a path of integration with civil society, has enabled the Cooperative to fully grasp the mandates of the law reorganising social services (Law 328/2000) when it outlines the axes of consultation, co-planning and co-assessment of personal services, for the prevention and active fight against conditions of hardship and social marginality.
