Jvari Youth Development Center

Jvari Youth Development Center is a youth organization based in Tsalenjikha Municipality, Georgia, working to address the challenges and needs of young people, particularly those living in rural and small communities. Our main areas of work include civic education, democracy, human rights, youth participation in local decision-making, environmental protection, foreign languages, media and communication, and rural development. We aim to empower young people with the knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to become active members of their communities. We also work to strengthen dialogue between young people and local decision-makers by helping authorities better understand the needs and challenges faced by youth and by promoting practical solutions that encourage greater youth participation in community life. Capacity building is another important part of our work. We organize trainings, seminars, workshops, youth activities and other non-formal education initiatives for young people, youth workers and organizations working with and for youth. Jvari Youth Development Center is open to cooperation with youth organizations, NGOs, educational institutions, local authorities and other stakeholders. We are particularly interested in international partnerships, youth exchanges, training activities, study visits and joint projects that contribute to youth participation, inclusion, skills development and community development. Our mission is to empower young people, strengthen their participation in public and community life, and contribute to the development of inclusive, youth-friendly and sustainable communities in Georgia.
