Kholoud Association for Youth Activities

We are a youth-led organisation founded in 2020 in Algeria, working to empower young people through training, media, cultural activities, and civic engagement. Our organisation promotes youth participation in social development, democratic processes, and cultural heritage preservation. We design and implement local initiatives focused on skills development in photography, videography, digital media, and community engagement. At the international level, we have participated in youth exchanges and seminars, including an international seminar held in Catania, Italy, focused on youth participation in social communities and democratic processes in South Europe and Euro-Mediterranean countries. Our key projects include “KARTINA”, a cultural initiative aimed at integrating youth in the promotion of the cultural heritage of the Casbah of Ténès, as well as “Shabaka Shabab.DZ”, a digital media and content creation network for young people. Through these initiatives and partnerships, we aim to create meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, lead, and contribute to positive social change at both local and international levels.
