YASADER – Partnership Proposal for Erasmus+ and European Youth Projects Who We Are YASADER (Legislation Association) is a non-governmental organization operating within the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA) and composed of legislative experts, policy advisors, bureaucrats, and researchers. Our mission is to strengthen democratic participation, promote civic engagement, and empower youth through policymaking, education, and capacity-building initiatives. With a strong institutional foundation and direct engagement with MPs, parliamentary committees, and governance structures, YASADER serves as a bridge between youth, civil society organizations, and decision-makers. We are directly connected with parliaments worldwide, enabling us to exchange best practices, influence legislative processes, and foster international cooperation on youth policies and civic participation. Additionally, we have the capacity to officially communicate and collaborate with all Turkish diplomatic missions abroad, strengthening our outreach in international partnerships and governance initiatives. Our Objectives and Focus Areas We aim to: Enhance youth participation in democratic processes by equipping young people with knowledge and skills to engage in policymaking. Promote active citizenship and civic education through non-formal learning methods, mentorship programs, and advocacy initiatives. Foster social inclusion and diversity by supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in accessing democratic platforms. Develop international partnerships and collaborations to exchange best practices and co-develop innovative projects. Integrate digital tools and methodologies to make governance, policymaking, and civic engagement more accessible for youth. Potential Areas for Project Collaboration We are open to collaborating on Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) projects in various fields, including: Youth Participation and Active Citizenship – Empowering young people to engage in policymaking, governance, and social change. Democracy and Human Rights Education – Training youth workers and educators on democratic values, political literacy, and civic responsibility. Social Inclusion and Equal Opportunities – Developing programs that support marginalized groups in participating in decision-making processes. Digital Transformation in Governance – Exploring ways to integrate digital tools and e-participation strategies to engage youth in democracy. Climate Policy and Sustainability – Strengthening the role of youth in environmental advocacy and sustainable policymaking. Capacity Building for Youth Organizations – Providing training for NGOs, youth workers, and policymakers on governance and civic engagement. Why Partner with YASADER?
