Mukachevo City Council

Mukachevo City Council, located in the picturesque Zakarpattia region of western Ukraine, is actively seeking opportunities to establish partnerships with cities and municipalities in other countries, particularly those interested in joint programs and collaborative initiatives. With a population of approximately 100,000, Mukachevo is a modern and dynamic city that successfully combines historical heritage with progressive development. Our community is dedicated to sustainable growth, investing in infrastructure, and fostering cultural and economic cooperation. Given our strategic location and multicultural identity, we see international partnerships as a key avenue for innovation and shared progress. We are particularly interested in cooperation within joint programs in areas such as economic development, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, smart city initiatives, education, and cultural exchange. We believe that through collaborative projects—whether EU-funded initiatives, bilateral programs, or cross-border cooperation—we can create meaningful and lasting impact for both communities.
