1. Mission and Identity - Community for adults with intellectual disabilities. - Part of the international L’Arche network (154 communities in 38 countries). - Based on relationships: living, working, and building friendships between people with and without disabilities. - Promotes inclusion, personal growth, mutual learning, and contributes to a more humane society 2. Residential Community - Two family-style houses: Sunny House and Rainbow House. - Adults with intellectual disabilities live together with assistants and volunteers. - Shared living, daily household tasks, community life, and building meaningful relationships. 3. Workshops - Wood Workshop: producing wooden items such as candle holders, small airplanes, toys, Christmas decorations, jewelry, board games, crates, etc. - Occupational Workshop: creating products from fabric, paper, clay (greeting cards, jewelry, handbags, notebooks, aprons, candles, paintings, and more). - Purpose: skill development, creativity, productivity, and economic engagement of members 4. Well-Being Program - Dance Therapy (weekly sessions for 23 years). - Active Holidays (horseback riding, hiking, swimming, outdoor activities). - Exercise & Physiotherapy (adapted physical activities). - Dog-Assisted Therapy (improving social, emotional, and cognitive skills). - Horseback Riding (in collaboration with Janhar farm and partners in Croatia). - Cinema Days (weekly film screenings with group discussions). - Healthy Cooking (teaching cooking skills and healthy eating). - Community Celebrations (birthdays, community events) 5. Role of Volunteers - International volunteers of various ages and backgrounds join the community. - Activities include: cooking, gardening, creative workshops, arts, music, sports, therapies, photography, writing, social media, fundraising, and more. - Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own ideas and talents 6. Location Zbilje, a charming village near Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana.
