HELLENIC FEDERATION OF RUGBY UNION

The "HELLENIC RUGBY UNION FEDERATION" is a legal entity of private law, a non-profit association, in accordance with the Civil Code and Law as amended. The "HELLENIC RUGBY UNION FEDERATION" is the supreme organization of sports clubs or sports associations (legal entity of private law) that cultivate the sport of RUGBY UNION, in all its variations, and aims to cultivate and develop it throughout the country and operates in accordance with the provisions of article 78 et seq. of the Civil Code, Law and those referring to it. . The "HELLENIC RUGBY UNION FEDERATION" aims to: a) organize, disseminate, control, supervise and generally promote the sport of RUGBY UNION in all its VARIATIONS, such as: Rugby 7-a-side, Rugby 10-a-side, Rugby 15-a-side, Beach Rugby, X-Rugby, Wheelchair Rugby, Underwater Rugby, Rugby for the Deaf, Flag Football, throughout the Greek territory. b) strengthen the sport at a national level and within the framework of "fair play". c) to organize all kinds of championships, cups, matches and demonstrations of all forms at local and/or national level and to allocate organizational responsibilities to sports associations and sports clubs. d) to control and allocate organizational responsibilities for all matches of all forms held in the Greek territory. e) to handle all international and national sports relations related to the sport in all its forms. f) to defend and strengthen the interests of all those involved (natural persons, legal entities) in the sport of RUGBY UNION in all its variations. g) to form national sports teams for men, adolescents, children, women, young women, girls and veteran athletes. h) the participation of representative Greek teams in International, Balkan, Mediterranean, European, World and Olympic games.
