COLECTIVO YUPANQUI

We serve as a bridge between cultures and as a space where, through music and dance, everyone can express themselves and overcome their differences. Our main activities include: - Creating and coordinating the first Latin American popular music school in Madrid. - To organize concerts and festivals related to Latin American folklore and other national or migrant folk traditions. - To support artists, especially from Latin America, who are touring in Madrid and need venues to perform or places to stay. - To promote Latin American popular music in a migrant context through the production of audiovisual material. We are currently about to launch the first season of "Colectivo Yupanqui Podcast" on Radio Relativa. Colectivo Yupanqui is made up of a highly diverse group of people, with representatives from Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, and Mexico participating in the coordination and decision-making bodies. Since our creation, more than 200 students have attended the Latin American Popular Music School. We have organized 3 festivals and more than 20 concerts and music jams.
