Klub studenata prava (eng. Law student club) is a student association established in 2023. with the goal to grow a strong student community, with networking, cooperation and participation in extracurricular activities. Such an effort was undertaken in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic and two earthquakes which severely damaged faculty buildings in Zagreb, which has contributed to the decrease of student extracurricular activity. The Club has a stable base of 50 members, most of them being students of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. However, the Club also has members from law faculties in other Croatian cities. Also, the Club has several alumni members, young lawyers who have attained their law degree but still continue contributing to the Club and its activities. Besides the formal membership base, the Club has strong ties and regularly cooperates with other faculties of the University of Zagreb, and wider. Finally, the Club's events are almost always open to the entire student community, regardless of membership, so the total outreach of the Club has been and continues to be much wider than its membership base. It's important to note that our founding members and leadership are very experienced in organising youth projects and participating in other relevant areas of youth activism since approximately 2016. Such an experience allows the Club to function at a high level right away, utilising the previously acquired experience of its members. We are now seeking to further advance our reach and establish cooperation at the European level through Erasmus+ partnerships. If you're looking at a fresh, young and motivated organisation, ready to broaden its scope and engage in new projects, we would be glad to hear from you.
