Associazione Tera International

Tera International is a youth-led non-profit organisation based in Milan, Italy, founded in 2025 by a group of university students with previous experience in volunteering, youth associations and international mobility projects. The organisation was created from a strong belief: young people should have real opportunities to take action, create change and learn from each other. Tera International is run by young people, for young people, which means that our ideas, energy and ways of working are fresh, inclusive and closely connected to the real needs of our peers. Over the years, the founding members have been actively involved in volunteering, student initiatives and local youth networks, gaining valuable experience at grassroots level. With Tera International, we aim to bring this energy to a European dimension, connecting young people and organisations across borders and cultures. Our work responds to the growing need among young people, especially students, young migrants, NEETs and young people with fewer opportunities, to access international experiences, non-formal education and active participation beyond the classroom. We believe that learning does not only happen in formal settings, but also through exchange, mobility and hands-on experiences. As an organisation, Tera International strongly defends human rights in a 360-degree perspective, promotes climate change awareness and climate justice, and supports sustainable lifestyles. We work with young people on key topics such as human rights, climate action, sustainable living, youth selfentrepreneurship and education in new technologies, including the use of drones, 3D printing and digital innovation. Our main goal is to ensure that every young person can access 360-degree learning experiences, such as cultural exchanges, volunteering activities, training courses and European projects, that support personal growth, social inclusion and active citizenship. We place a strong focus on inclusion and equal opportunities, especially for those who face social, economic or cultural barriers. Our mission is to empower young people to become active citizens, critical thinkers and changemakers, capable of shaping a more inclusive, sustainable and innovative Europe.
