K Project Roma is a non-profit sports organisation based in Italy, with consolidated experience in inclusive sport, education and social inclusion at local and European level. The organisation designs and delivers sport-based programmes aimed at reducing inequalities, strengthening participation and promoting equal opportunities through physical activity. Its work focuses on three main areas: Disability and inclusive sport: development and implementation of adapted and inclusive training models, with a strong focus on the integration of children, young people and adults with intellectual and relational disabilities into mainstream sport activities through co-teaching and personalised support. Women in sport: promotion of access to sport and physical activity for girls and women, with specific attention to empowerment, participation, leadership and long-term engagement in sport and community life. Sport for people with a migrant background: design of sport-based inclusion pathways for children and young people with migrant backgrounds, using physical activity as a tool for social integration, intercultural dialogue and community cohesion. K Project Roma has been actively involved in European cooperation projects, including Erasmus+, and works in close cooperation with local institutions and stakeholders. The organisation combines field-based practice, inclusive methodologies and project management experience to deliver high-quality, socially impactful sport initiatives at local, national and European level.
