EGE Youth SFL - EGE University School of Foreign Languages Youth Group

The primary goal of our newly established youth group is to inform young people about the educational tools that can contribute to their learning experience and improve their skills. Our group aims at educating and encouraging the youth in the community to be actively involved, gain confidence, have a mutual understanding of different cultures and develop solidarity and tolerance of social cohesion in the European Union. To this end, it is at the core of our work area that we organize training facilities and events like seminaars, conferences through which we introduce young people to learning tools available. We also help young individuals develop projects through workshops and brainstorming sessions and raise their awareness particularly into cultural issues, such as multiculturalism, European identity, Intercultural relationships. Ege University is located very close to the city centre and offers a wide range of sports facilities, social and cultural activities for its students. Here we would like to make use of our university and city potential for those who would like to work on a project with us. We are open to any project ideas about the following topics: -environment -nonformal learning -language learning -art -children -sports -multiculturalism -minorities and integration -media and communication -social media We are interested in Action 1.1 (Youth Exchanges) Action 3.1 (Cooperation with the Neighbouring Partner Countries) Action 4.3 (Training and Networking)
