Fundația Orizont

During the years , Fundatia Orizont has implemented POSDRU (The Sectorial Operational Programme for Human Resources Development) strategic and grant projects, the trainers and lecturers were teachers from the University and Preuniversity system of education, members of the Foundation or collaborators. In partnership with the preuniversity education units or with the University of Craiova, the Employers' representatives, the Foundation initiated and developed programs for the development of SME's and entrepreneurship. Fundatia Orizont has experience in developing Long Life Programmes (LLP) by participating in the Youth in Action Programme under the project "Leadership and Strategy" - Training Courses, in partnership with the DHKEX Municipality of Xylokastro, Greece, April 2011. Within the LLP Programme - KEY ACTION 1.1. a person has participated in 2012 to the Study Visit with the reference number 11-VS-R2-275-DJ unfolded in Spain. We are active in the actions of LLP but we also work with adults thanks to other programs such as The Sectorial Operational Programme for the Development of Human Resources. Fundatia Orizont is the beneficiary of the European financing within the Sectorial Operational Programme for the Development of Human Resources . POSDRU \/92\/3.1\/S\/63785, for the project "Entrepreneurship - a successful career!, completed. One of this project’s aim was the development of managerial and entrepreneurial competencies necessary to 300 entrepreneurs and people who wanted to start an independent business through their participation in a training program "The Entrepreneurship - a lasting career option". Another project within The Sectorial Operational Programme for the Development of Human Resources has been implemented. The project „P.E.S.A.S. – The promotion of social economy through new successful businesses” has the following ID number: 147440. Through this project, three structures of social economy were developed and and the target group that involved only disadvantaged persons participated in the training course “Entrepreneurial Competences” and also “Social Economy”. Some of the participants were employed in social enterprises that were established. The latest project that we implemented within The Sectorial Operational Programme for the Development of Human Resources is “The Exercise Firm, Your Start in Entrepreneurship - FESTINA” has the following ID number: 150401. This project involved young high school students that were taught how to manage a virtual company in order to be prepared in the transition from school to active life and to develop their ability to become entrepreneurs. Fundația ORIZONT was partner in the “The Entrepreneur SHIP”, KA1 Erasmus + Project, a Making Seminar which took place in Chisinau, Moldova between 30th of September and 7th of October and also involved partners from the following countries: United Kingdom, Denmark, Turkey, Italy, Bulgaria, Moldova, Armenia, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Belarus. Fundatia Orizont has been a partner in the following projects: 1. POSDRU/57/1.3/S/34825. Beneficiary: The Ministry of Education; „Mediation – the way of solving conflicts arising in the school environment”, completed. 2. POS DRU/ 1 / 1.1 / S / 2/4037: "Professionals in pre-university educational management", 2008. Beneficiary: The Ministry of Education, completed. 3. POS DRU/19/1.3/G/ 21201: "Novice teachers' training for a successful career in pre-university education", 2009. Beneficiary: The Teachers Training Centre of Dolj County, completed. In the framework of these projects, our organisation provided services as: - Training courses; - Entrepreneurship; - Career counseling and similar activities; - Developing counseling standards and non-formal education standards; - Skills assessment (in and out); - Advice and personalized guidance to the student; - Seminars; - Organisation of cultural activities; - Organisation of accommodation and maintenance, so on.
