With our daily work and through the programmes we are developing we focus on 3 main goals: 1 Offering opportunities to the young people of Lorca and its surroundings: in the last 10 years Cazalla Intercultural has supported international mobility projects, has collaborated with the city council offering information services for young people. We believe that young people deserve opportunities to learn, travel and acquire different skills. 2 Supporting the professionalisation of youth work: this need has already been identified by most of the main European institutions working in the youth field. We have gone through a process of organisational development that allows us to structure our work, apply transparent procedures and identify possibilities to work on our mission. 3 Raising awareness against discrimination in Lorca and at national and international level: among the issues that Cazalla stands for are anti-racism, inclusion, diversity, the fight against gender-based violence and social justice. Our main lines of work have been created to use Cazalla's strengths and contribute to the creation of societies as we would like to see them. Main lines of work: Contributing to the personal and professional development of young people. What we intend to do with our activities is to EMPOWER young people, in the sense of empowering them in the form of opportunities, experiences, support and youth work in general and to provide them with tools and competences that will enable them to perform better both personally and professionally. Raising awareness on issues related to the values of Cazalla (equality, solidarity, anti-racism, etc.) Support to other NGOs and professionals. We aim to support other entities in order to increase the impact that an organisation can achieve. We aim to do this through training, networking, development of educational resources, etc. Among the main objectives of Cazalla Intercultural are: 1. To create more learning opportunities for young people through their participation in different mobilities of the programme and to have a guidance and support system in their process of improving or acquiring the 8 key competences in order to favour their access to the labour market and their active participation in society. 2. To contribute to the fight against racism, gender-based violence, sexism, hate speech and other types of violence at local/national/international level and to promote good treatment as the basis for approaching others and oneself. 3. To offer young people opportunities to get involved in the democratic life of their city, to learn to express their needs and opinions and to dialogue with policy makers and thus contribute to local youth policies. 4. To promote volunteering as a tool for personal and professional development and active participation in society. 5. To promote the use of digital tools and distance learning in the framework of our projects. 6.- To contribute to the professionalisation and recognition of youth work. 7. To promote collaboration and participation in networks. 8.- To offer support to the development of the third sector. The main target group Cazalla works with are young people who are mostly between 15 and 30 years old, but as we deal with youth work as a whole, we also work with the responsible persons who work with or accompany young people: youth leaders, youth workers, teachers, counsellors, social workers, etc. The main target group is divided into 4 groups: 1. Our main target are young people with fewer opportunities: involving people who have difficulties of integration in the locality because they belong to minority groups (e.g. LGBTI+ people), young immigrants, refugees. On the other hand, we promote the participation of young people who live in the towns and villages near Lorca. Finally, we also prioritise the participation of young people who are in difficult economic situations, or who are not in education or employment (NEETs), or who have other difficulties (
